1. English & Literacy
- Reading fluency: accuracy, expression, and pacing with longer texts
- Reading comprehension: identifying main ideas, supporting details, and sequencing events
- Vocabulary development: introducing synonyms, antonyms, and context clues
- Writing skills: writing short paragraphs with topic sentences and supporting details
- Grammar: capitalization, punctuation, contractions, singular/plural nouns, past/present tense verbs
- Spelling: high-frequency words, word families, and phonics-based spelling
- Oral communication: retelling stories, participating in discussions, and expressing opinions clearly
2. Mathematics
- Number sense: reading, writing, and ordering numbers up to 100 (and beyond)
- Place value: hundreds, tens, and ones
- Addition and subtraction with regrouping (carry/borrow)
- Word problems with multiple steps
- Introduction to multiplication (repeated addition, arrays) and division (equal groups)
- Skip counting (by 2s, 5s, 10s, 25s)
- Fractions: ½, ⅓, ¼ as parts of a whole
- Measurement: standard units (cm, m, g, kg, L, mL)
- Time: telling time to 5 minutes, elapsed time
- Money: counting coins, adding amounts, making change
- Geometry: identifying and comparing 2D/3D shapes, perimeter, symmetry
- Data: bar graphs, pictographs, tally charts
3. Science & Social Studies (based on school curriculum)
- Life cycles of plants and animals
- Properties of solids, liquids, and gases (intro)
- Simple machines (lever, pulley, wheel, etc.)
- Communities, traditions, and basic mapping skills
4. Study Skills & Habits
- Strengthening focus for 20–30 minutes
- Following multi-step directions with independence
- Developing neatness and organization in written work
- Early test-taking strategies (reviewing questions, checking answers)
- Building independence in completing assignments and homework
5. Enrichment & Confidence Building
- Creative writing: short stories, descriptive writing, and journals
- Public speaking: presenting ideas to peers, reading aloud with confidence
- Critical thinking and problem-solving games
- Positive reinforcement and encouragement to build self-esteem and motivation
6. Learning Formats
- Sessions include workbook-based practice, hands-on exercises, reading/writing activities, and interactive games to keep students engaged.
